Cardio burns calories. Strength training changes your body.

There is a reason most people who only do cardio end up frustrated. They get lighter but they do not look or feel the way they expected. That is because losing weight without lifting means losing muscle alongside fat. Your body gets smaller but not stronger. Your metabolism gets slower. And the results never quite look the way you imagined.

Strength training fixes that. It builds the shape underneath. It keeps your metabolism working properly. It makes everything else in your life feel easier. And it gets more important, not less, as you get older.

You do not need to go heavy. You do not need to smash yourself. You just need to show up, move with intent, and do slightly better than last time. One more rep. A little more control. That is genuinely all it takes.
